Dispatches: The CRNA in Unifor...
  • Nurse Anesthesiology is...Courage

Submitted by Mark Bennett, CRNA, MN, APRN

“My colleague is Bill Maybury. He has over 45 years of anesthesia service. He served in the military and has been on many mission trips. His work ethic remains unmatched even at 77 years old.

In January he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. After 4 months of chemotherapy, they have determined the mass in inoperable. They are giving him about a year to live.

Bill is my friend, colleague, and hero. His story should be known to all CRNAs. He’s an inspiration.”
